Sale Policy

Pigit Acres reserves the right to retain any animal at any time.

Goats are herd animals and should be maintained and treated as such. All buyers should either already own goats or have plans to purchase multiple goats. 

​

Reservations

​

Pigit acres offers a free waiting list. We do not ask for a deposit to hold a goat. Pigit Acres will notify the prospective buyer on that particular wait list at the 2-week-old mark. Prospective buyers will have 48 hours to pick up their chosen animal. After that time, we will move on to the next person on the wait list.

Health

​

Pigit Acres maintains a clean, annually tested negative herd. We test for CAE, CL & Johnes. While all goats are healthy and up to date on vaccines upon pickup, we cannot guarantee their care after leaving our farm, therefore we cannot guarantee their health once they leave.

Pick Up

​

All prospective buyers are asked to schedule a pickup time with us. 

​

Registration, Tattoo & Disbudding

​

All goats will go home with their registration papers, tattooed accordingly, and disbudded by 2 weeks old. If a buyer prefers for an animal to NOT be disbudded and purchased with horns if purchased and picked up before 2 weeks old.
